International Podcast Day

Listening is underrated. Blue Planet Alliance’s primary strength is our convening power — getting key stakeholders together to listen to each other. Once people are at the negotiating table, a positive outcome is almost inevitable.

So we appreciate the power of both talking and listening. And that is why we are so enamored of #InternationalPodcastDay, which is today (September 30th) — an international celebration of the power of podcasts.

Looking back at this year, our founder, Henk Rogers, has already been on an impressive number of podcasts and we wanted to share some of the best appearances today for the celebration.

Check out this Top 10 list below, and let us know what you think!

1) How I Built This with Guy Raz

Host Guy Raz interviews the world’s best-known entrepreneurs to learn how they built their iconic brands. In each episode, founders reveal deep, intimate moments of doubt and failure, and share insights on their eventual success. In this episode, Raz talks with Henk about how he recognized how elegant and addictive Tetris was, and then channeled the money he made from the game to trying to end the planetary use of carbon-based fuel.
