BLUE PLANET ALLIANCE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM, COHORT II

The second cohort of the Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship Program on May 5-10, 2024 in Honolulu, Hawaii. We brought 40 Fellows from Bermuda, Dominica, Fiji, Grenada, Jamaica, Papua New Guinea, Puerto Rico, Seychelles, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu for a week-long conference in Honolulu, Hawaii to help put them all on a path to a 100% renewable-energy future. Over five days — with more than 25 esteemed speakers representing the best wisdom of Hawaii from the legislative, regulatory, and academic sectors, as well as renowned speakers from the public and private sectors and civil society — the Fellows saw presentations and seminars, took part in breakout sessions, and shared resources and knowledge with each other. We ended the week at Washington Place, where Hawaii Governor Josh Green and First Lady Jaime Kanani Green welcomed us to their residence with a farewell reception.
