
VIRTUAL ISLAND WORKSHOP SERIES
Our Virtual Islands Workshop (VIW) series is a monthly webinar created exclusively for graduates of the Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship Program.
Each session features two Fellows from previous cohorts who share updates on their island’s progress toward transitioning to 100% renewable energy. The workshop concludes with a Q&A session where Fellows share ideas and insights, helping to foster dialogue and collaboration across nations.
VIW # 5: Saint Kitts and Nevis and Rapa Nui
In the fifth installment of our Virtual Island Workshops series, Clement Williams, General Manager of the St. Kitts Electric Company, and Tomas Standen, Assessor of the Demographic Carrying Capacity Council of Rapa Nui, give updates on their islands’ journeys toward 100% renewable energy.
VIW # 4: VANUATU AND BERMUDA
In the fourth edition of our Virtual Island Workshops series, Antony Garae, Director of the Department of Energy of Vanuatu, and Stuart Kriendler, Chief Empowerment Officer of Sunny Side Solar of Bermuda, provide updates on their respective nations’ efforts to transition to 100% renewable energy.

The Honorable Kerryne James, Grenada’s Minister of Climate Resilience, The Environment and Renewable Energy, and John Cruz, Assistant General Manager, Engineering and Technical Services of the Guam Power Authority, share their islands’ roadmaps to 100% renewable energy.
