Similarly, the Youth and Children Constituency to the United Nations (YOUNGO), organizes the Conference of Youth (COY), a global event led by young people from all over the world, which concludes in the handover of a policy document, known as the Global Youth Statement. This document represents the voice of young people and their climate demands.

Before the COY, young people have the opportunity to organize a Local COY in their respective countries and share the inputs from their conference into the Global Youth Statement. These local conferences serve as an opportunity for young activists and advocates to network, capacity build, discuss the climate reality of their areas, and make their voices heard on the local and international stage.
